Success grows when you thank people and finish small things — 2026-08-01

Two Black Earth sits in the center today, with Three Blue Wood for the month and One White Water for the year. It’s a steady, practical setup that rewards care, support, and tidy follow-through. Risshuu (Beginning of Autumn) arrives on 2026-08-07 as the heat crests. One White Water, Seven Red Metal, and Nine Purple Fire get the easiest lane; Three Blue Wood, Four Green Wood, and Six White Metal should go gentle, while the earth trio—Two Black, Five Yellow, Eight White—wins with patient, useful work.

Today's Star: Seven Red Metal

To today's Seven Red Metal:

A good run grows when you thank people and finish small tasks. Thanks given today keep doors open tomorrow. Send two quick notes—one thanks, one clear update with next step. Then wrap one small loose end before noon.

Today's question: Who helped you make progress this week, and have you told them?

1. One White Water (一白水星, Ippaku Suisei) — Score: 9/10

Today's Palace: Southeast Palace Compatibility: Generative (Being Supported)

Today favors connection and movement for One White Water (Ippaku Suisei). Messages land, schedules line up, and helpful people appear when you ask, so lead with a clear note and a simple next step. Reach out to two contacts, make one direct ask, and lock a drifting date so a plan stops floating. Watch scope creep and side talk; keep one main thread, keep messages under five lines, and double-check names, times, and links before you hit send. Small checks prevent small messes and keep the day smooth.

2. Seven Red Metal (七赤金星, Shichiseki Kinsei) — Score: 9/10

Today's Palace: North Palace Compatibility: Generative (Being Supported)

Seven Red Metal (Shichiseki Kinsei) gets an easy, social lane today. Conversations open, leads warm up, and small deals close if you ask clearly and keep the tone light. Make three warm check-ins, post or share something useful, and invite one person for coffee or a short call. Celebrate small wins, then send a quick thank-you to lock in goodwill. Watch for distractions and impulse spending; set a time or budget limit before you start. Keep promises tight and follow up the same day while interest is high.

3. Nine Purple Fire (九紫火星, Kyushi Kasei) — Score: 9/10

Today's Palace: East Palace Compatibility: Generative (Supporting)

Visibility is high for Nine Purple Fire (Kyushi Kasei). Your ideas and presence land when you speak simply and show one clear example, so publish, present, or teach while attention is warm. Share credit by name, give one practical takeaway, and leave room for questions. Pace yourself with short breaks so the spotlight doesn’t drain you, and avoid juggling too many threads at once. If emotions rise, come back to facts and timing. One clean piece shipped today will carry farther than three half-finished starts.

4. Two Black Earth (二黒土星, Jikoku Dosei) — Score: 7/10

Today's Palace: Central Palace Compatibility: Harmonious (Same Element)

It’s a solid, practical day for Two Black Earth (Jikoku Dosei). Routine work moves well, home and team care pay off, and small fixes bring relief you can feel. Block time for one quiet task you’ve been carrying, tidy a corner of your space, and prep what Monday needs so you can rest easier. Don’t try to hold everything alone; ask for one small hand where it helps most, and resist micromanaging the rest. Simple steady steps beat big pushes today, and your calm tone sets the rhythm for others.

5. Five Yellow Earth (五黄土星, Goou Dosei) — Score: 7/10

Today's Palace: Northeast Palace Compatibility: Harmonious (Same Element)

It’s a good day for clean leadership for Five Yellow Earth (Goou Dosei). Set direction, simplify a messy process, and define what is in and out for the next month. Write a one-page rule, ask two real questions before you decide, and share the plan in plain words so people know how to help. Avoid forcing timelines or winning every point; your steadiness is enough. If tempers rise, pause and restate the goal. A modest reset now makes room for smoother work next week and shows people you mean support, not control.

6. Eight White Earth (八白土星, Happaku Dosei) — Score: 7/10

Today's Palace: Southwest Palace Compatibility: Harmonious (Same Element)

It’s a steady day for Eight White Earth (Happaku Dosei). Home projects, saving, repairs, and small security steps all land well, so pick one change and make it real. Fix one thing you see every day, update passwords, review insurance, or move a small amount to savings. Keep plans practical and avoid digging in over minor preferences; steady progress beats winning a detail. If someone offers help, accept and share the load. By night, you’ll feel safer and lighter because the quiet work that protects you is finally done.

7. Three Blue Wood (三碧木星, Sanpeki Mokusei) — Score: 3/10

Today's Palace: Northwest Palace Compatibility: Conflicting (Overcoming)

For Three Blue Wood (Sanpeki Mokusei), today resists hard starts and bold pushes. Your best move is to slow down, protect your energy, and move work forward in drafts, notes, and quiet checks. Do light exercise, hydrate well, and ask one trusted person for a quick read before you commit to anything public. Skip confrontations and impulse buys; tone can come out sharp and timing won’t help. Park new launches, trim one plan to its core, and give yourself an early night so your next step lands cleaner tomorrow.

8. Four Green Wood (四緑木星, Shiroku Mokusei) — Score: 3/10

Today's Palace: West Palace Compatibility: Conflicting (Overcoming)

Communication can tangle for Four Green Wood (Shiroku Mokusei) today. Keep messages short, confirm one key fact per thread, and postpone high-stakes meetings if you can. Focus on listening and gathering context instead of persuading, and send a one-page brief rather than a long deck. People may read you wrong when you speak fast or joke dry, so skip sarcasm and avoid oversharing. If a reply stings, wait an hour before answering. Clear, simple notes and careful timing will spare you rework and keep relationships steady.

9. Six White Metal (六白金星, Roppaku Kinsei) — Score: 3/10

Today's Palace: South Palace Compatibility: Conflicting (Overcoming)

For Six White Metal (Roppaku Kinsei), plans and tools may not cooperate. Lower the bar for output, and raise the bar for checks. Back up devices, run updates, review budgets, and ask for a peer review before you ship anything important. Delay bold decisions and avoid nitpicking others while you are stressed; pride can make you push when a pause would save you. A short walk or stretch can reset your focus better than one more tweak. Quiet maintenance today prevents bigger problems and keeps your authority clean.

With a steady earth day in the middle of a wood month, small courtesies and clean finishes travel far. As we head toward Risshuu next week, notice where a simple thank-you or a tidied corner changes the tone. What one small finish would let you breathe easier tonight?
