Set the tone on a quiet day — 2026-07-29

Five Yellow Earth sits in the center today, with Three Blue Wood shaping the month and One White Water steering the year. It’s Shosho (Lesser Heat), the stretch when the heat starts to bite and simple habits matter. Expect a steady, back-to-basics rhythm that rewards maintenance and clear decisions. Earth and Metal signs get the smoothest lane; Wood and Fire move best in small, consistent steps.

Today's Star: Five Yellow Earth

To today's Five Yellow Earth:

Quiet days decide more than loud ones—set the tone on purpose. A small clear choice now saves you an hour later. Pick one task only you can decide, write the decision, tell the two people it affects, and schedule the first 30 minutes to move it.

Today's question: Which one decision today would make the rest of the week simpler?

1. Five Yellow Earth (五黄土星, Goou Dosei) — Score: 8/10

Today's Palace: Central Palace
Compatibility: Home Palace (Stable Energy)

Central ground favors Five Yellow Earth (Goou Dosei). Decide the one priority that will unblock the rest, state it simply with your reason, make the first move, and clean your desk to match the decision; delegate clearly and remove one rule or step that no longer helps. The only caution is heavy‑handed control, so ask for one piece of pushback before you finalize, then hold the line and let people work.

2. Two Black Earth (二黒土星, Jikoku Dosei) — Score: 7/10

Today's Palace: Southwest Palace
Compatibility: Home Palace (Stable Energy)

Today favors steadiness for Two Black Earth (Jikoku Dosei). Quiet work, caretaking, and routine-building go well; tidy one surface, prep a simple meal, share a small update, and check on someone you support while accepting help that is offered. The only risk is taking on too much out of habit, so set one clear time limit, ask for one needed favor, and choose slower, steadier steps if a plan slips.

3. Six White Metal (六白金星, Roppaku Kinsei) — Score: 7/10

Today's Palace: Northwest Palace
Compatibility: Home Palace (Stable Energy)

Six White Metal (Roppaku Kinsei) gets a clean planning day. Map tomorrow, tighten one estimate, update a checklist, archive two stale items, and repair or recalibrate a tool; send a short summary so others know the plan. The pitfall is a rigid tone or nitpicking people, so aim your precision at tasks and settings, not at personalities, and leave one margin for change.

4. Eight White Earth (八白土星, Happaku Dosei) — Score: 7/10

Today's Palace: Northeast Palace
Compatibility: Home Palace (Stable Energy)

A steady, practical day supports Eight White Earth (Happaku Dosei). Handle money and security basics—move one bill to auto‑pay, back up key files, and fix a small hinge or handle at home; set a clear boundary with one person or task. The risk is digging in on every point, so pick the one hill to defend, let the rest pass, and choose the safest route home.

5. One White Water (一白水星, Ippaku Suisei) — Score: 6/10

Today's Palace: North Palace
Compatibility: Home Palace (Stable Energy)

Today is steady for One White Water (Ippaku Suisei), and it favors sorting information, clearing small backlogs, and making travel or timing choices without rush. Clean your inbox, update one plan, and call one person to confirm a detail instead of messaging; keep plans light in case timings shift. The main risk is getting lost in screens or trying to read between the lines, so take a short walk between tasks and ask plainly when something is unclear, and hydrate.

6. Four Green Wood (四緑木星, Shiroku Mokusei) — Score: 6/10

Today's Palace: Southeast Palace
Compatibility: Home Palace (Stable Energy)

Communication works best for Four Green Wood (Shiroku Mokusei) when it is clean and steady. Follow up on open threads, confirm next steps, review shared docs, and fix small wording that could confuse others; call one person instead of stretching a long chat thread, and treat today as clarifying rather than broadcasting something new. Overpromising is the risk, so keep offers small, check schedules twice, and leave some room for changes.

7. Seven Red Metal (七赤金星, Shichiseki Kinsei) — Score: 6/10

Today's Palace: West Palace
Compatibility: Home Palace (Stable Energy)

A sociable but moderate day suits Seven Red Metal (Shichiseki Kinsei). Send three light touches—a thank‑you, an ask, and a check‑in—nudge an invoice, and confirm one small plan for the weekend; keep spending simple. The watch‑out is chasing a mood with impulse buys or long parties, so end chats while they are warm and write down wins instead of refreshing feeds. If a conversation starts to drift, end with a clear next step and leave before your energy dips.

8. Three Blue Wood (三碧木星, Sanpeki Mokusei) — Score: 5/10

Today's Palace: East Palace
Compatibility: Home Palace (Stable Energy)

Three Blue Wood (Sanpeki Mokusei) gets a modest start‑stop day. Begin the smallest version of what you want to launch, do a 20‑minute health block, review your tools, clear a few notifications, and send one message to test interest rather than pushing hard for results. Impatience is the trap, so keep your tone light, give people time to reply, and park any bigger decision until you sleep on it.

9. Nine Purple Fire (九紫火星, Kyushi Kasei) — Score: 5/10

Today's Palace: South Palace
Compatibility: Home Palace (Stable Energy)

For Nine Purple Fire (Kyushi Kasei), today is better for editing than for the spotlight. Trim a draft, gather sources, block time for a later share, and practice once off‑camera; clear your desk to reduce visual noise, and quiet focus now will make next week smoother. Sensitivity to feedback is high, so do not chase quick approval, mute alerts for an hour, and step outside before replying to anything sharp.

Quiet structure wins the day. Notice where one small, clear choice removes three follow‑ups. If you pick just one surface, tool, or thread to tidy before you stop, which one will make tomorrow easier?
