Hold the line; clear thinking beats speed — 2026-07-25

Nine Purple Fire sits at the center today, so expect sharp visibility, quick feedback, and a push to say things plainly. We’re in Shosho (Lesser Heat), when heat begins to intensify, under a Three Blue Wood month and a One White Water year. That mix favors clear signals and short cycles. One White Water, Two Black Earth, Four Green Wood, Six White Metal, and Nine Purple Fire can press ahead; Three Blue Wood, Five Yellow Earth, Seven Red Metal, and Eight White Earth will do better slowing choices, doing maintenance, and protecting time.

Today's Star: Eight White Earth

To today's Eight White Earth:

Hold the line today; clear thinking beats quick decisions. When facts are thin, patience protects you more than speed. Park the big choice and write a one-page brief: goal, options, who to ask, next small step. Then send one message to book that chat.

Today's question: What piece of information do you still need before you decide?

1. One White Water (一白水星, Ippaku Suisei) — Score: 9/10

Today's Palace: Northwest Palace Compatibility: Generative (Supporting)

Today moves well for One White Water (Ippaku Suisei). Your strengths are timely information, calm follow-up, and flexible plans. Pick one stalled thread and restart it with a short, clear message that includes a concrete next step and a time. Travel and small errands go smoothly if you keep the route simple. Take a call while walking if it helps you think. The only risk is scattering your focus because the day feels open. Promise only what fits today. Double-check times, addresses, and names before you hit send. If someone new offers help, accept and give them one small task.

2. Two Black Earth (二黒土星, Jikoku Dosei) — Score: 9/10

Today's Palace: West Palace Compatibility: Generative (Being Supported)

Good building day for Two Black Earth (Jikoku Dosei). Follow-through, care, and steady pace win. Finish one half-done task at home or work, close the loop, and put the tools away. Check on someone who relies on you and offer one specific help, like a ride, a meal, or a reminder. Money and supplies respond to simple tracking; write amounts down in one place. The only trap is trying to control every detail. Ask for a small contribution and let others do it their way. An early bedtime and a tidy floor set up tomorrow.

3. Four Green Wood (四緑木星, Shiroku Mokusei) — Score: 9/10

Today's Palace: South Palace Compatibility: Generative (Being Supported)

Clear communication lands well for Four Green Wood (Shiroku Mokusei). People can hear you today if you keep it simple and specific. Make one clear ask or proposal and send it before noon. Offer a direct benefit and one easy next step. Take calls in a quiet place and leave space for the other person to respond. This is a good day to schedule meetings or publish a short update. The pitfall is overexplaining or promising extras you do not need. Keep tone warm and brief. One well-placed message beats five long ones.

4. Six White Metal (六白金星, Roppaku Kinsei) — Score: 9/10

Today's Palace: Southwest Palace Compatibility: Generative (Supporting)

Six White Metal (Roppaku Kinsei) gets a strong, precise day. Planning, tools, and delegation click when you set clear boundaries. Lock the plan, assign two tasks, and note owners and times. Calibrate your devices or workspace, then do a focused burst. Start meetings with one question to draw people in before you set direction. The risk is a tone that sounds rigid when you feel efficient. Add one line of context and a thank you. Check a critical measurement, password, or link before you publish. A small fix early saves a big redo.

5. Nine Purple Fire (九紫火星, Kyushi Kasei) — Score: 9/10

Today's Palace: Central Palace Compatibility: Generative (Being Supported)

Nine Purple Fire (Kyushi Kasei) sits at the center today, so visibility is high. This is a good day to present, teach, or show your work. Share a clear update, photo, or demo, and ask for one concrete reaction. Curate before you post; choose one point and one image. People notice details now, so check names, links, and captions twice. Say thank you to anyone who helped you polish. The risk is chasing every comment. Log what you learn, then step back and plan the next reveal.

6. Three Blue Wood (三碧木星, Sanpeki Mokusei) — Score: 3/10

Today's Palace: Northeast Palace Compatibility: Conflicting (Being Overcome)

Three Blue Wood (Sanpeki Mokusei), this is a rough day for bold starts. Ease off the throttle and protect your energy. Cut today’s plan in half and focus on light maintenance: stretch, hydrate, clear your desk, and update one file. If a message makes you bristle, wait an hour before you answer. Short walks help more than long workouts. Skip big buys and bold pitches for now. Share a draft only with a trusted person. Small, quiet steps restore your momentum.

7. Five Yellow Earth (五黄土星, Goou Dosei) — Score: 3/10

Today's Palace: North Palace Compatibility: Conflicting (Being Overcome)

For Five Yellow Earth (Goou Dosei), today tests control. Forcing moves backfires, but careful review pays. Park big decisions and audit risks and backups instead: passwords, contacts, calendars, and bills. Ask a second set of eyes on anything high-stakes. Keep leadership light; let others speak first and show you what they see. If tension rises, pause and step outside for five minutes. Avoid power struggles and quick edits on live items. A clean list and fresh water on your desk reset the day.

8. Seven Red Metal (七赤金星, Shichiseki Kinsei) — Score: 3/10

Today's Palace: East Palace Compatibility: Conflicting (Being Overcome)

Seven Red Metal (Shichiseki Kinsei), keep it low-key. Social pull is strong but may drain you or cost money you did not plan. Skip optional invites and clear one small money task instead: send an invoice, cancel a trial, or return an item. Aim for quiet joy at home and simple food. Gossip and quick takes travel fast today; do not feed them. If you feel FOMO, put your phone down and step outside for fresh air. One kind note to a friend beats a busy room.

9. Eight White Earth (八白土星, Happaku Dosei) — Score: 3/10

Today's Palace: Southeast Palace Compatibility: Conflicting (Overcoming)

For Eight White Earth (Happaku Dosei), steadiness beats change. Delay big shifts and protect your base. Back up files, label folders, and check home safety items. Write down the status of savings, subscriptions, and renewals. If a decision feels heavy, ask advice from one calm person and sleep on it. Pride may push you to handle everything alone; ignore that push today. A clean drawer and a clear checklist are wins. You can act on the answer tomorrow with more confidence.

Nine Purple Fire highlights what’s clear and what isn’t. Notice where a short message gets a fast answer and where a pause saves you from rework. If the day runs hot, narrow the next step and keep it simple.
